Top Carpooling and Ridesharing Apps on iOS in Hungary: Q2 2025

In the second quarter of 2025, Hungary's iOS market for carpooling and ridesharing apps showed diverse trends across the top applications, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Uber - Request a ride experienced a steady increase in weekly downloads, climbing from approximately 1.8K at the start of April to around 3.6K by the end of June. The app's weekly active users also grew significantly, starting at about 10.7K and reaching over 20K by the end of the quarter.

Bolt: Request a Ride maintained a consistent download rate with a slight peak mid-June at around 2.5K downloads. Active users saw fluctuations but remained robust, peaking at about 57.2K in early June.

Oszkar telekocsi showed a gradual increase in weekly downloads, starting from 209 and reaching 411 by the quarter's end. Unfortunately, active user data was not available for this app.

Grab: Taxi Ride, Food Delivery had a more stable pattern with weekly downloads ranging from 147 to 276, while weekly active users increased slightly from 5.9K to 6.9K during the quarter.

Careem – rides, food & more experienced a decline in weekly downloads, dropping from 146 to 81 by late June. Active users also decreased, starting at 432 and declining to 355.
